This weekend we had a wonderful time at a missions conference at Berean Baptist Church in Brunswick, Maine. It was a great conference – the speaker, Doug Rogers, brought great challenges from the Word that left everyone a little bit black and blue (which was good) and the six missionary families who were there each had an opportunity to share their ministries. It was exciting to hear about the many varied ministries that were represented, including prison ministries, church planting, sports ministries, camp ministries, and reaching Africans right here in Maine! The folks from the church were very friendly and extremely hospitable. As a special treat to the visiting missionaries, they served lobster at one of the meals with the missions committee. It was Brandon’s first time having lobster, and he is hooked!
This coming week we are staying with a good friend and our newest supporting pastor, Pastor Thibault. This week we will be very busy catching up on some things, working on a paper for Brandon’s class, and preparing for our missions meeting this coming weekend in Corinth, Maine.
Thank you for your continued prayers. God has been so good – we are excited to now be at 82% and we’re looking forward to what God is going to do throughout this summer!
