Deputation – Week 126

This past weekend we had the privilege of presenting the ministry to Brazil at Heritage Baptist Church in Windham, New Hampshire. Heritage was begun several years ago as a church plant and they are now outgrowing the building in which they meet. Pastor Fagan and the folks there are towards expanding their facilities in the near future. It was a blessing to see a wide array of ages and many young families.

The week was chock full of visiting with friends and family. Before leaving New England we had the opportunity to visit with a pastor friend from Maine and two pastor friends in New Hampshire. The rest of the week we have spent with Emily’s aunt in the Albany area. On Wednesday evening we had the opportunity to give a report at one of our first supporting churches, Latham Bible Baptist Church. What an encouragement to see Pastor Walters and the folks there and to hear what God is doing in that church and Christian school. At a time when many Christian schools are shrinking in attendance, it was neat to hear that the school there in Latham is growing. Thursday and Friday we were able to visit with another supporting pastor in the area and a number of members from Emily’s family.

This week ushered in October, our last month of traveling before we settle back in down in North Carolina for Chloe’s birth. We thank you for your prayers for our travels and for her. The OB gave her a good report last week; she continues to grow and seems to have a desire to stretch out. What fun for Mommy!
